Assistant Principal Jessica Schaus is new to the administrator role, but she’s not new to the world of education. She has taught in Tennessee schools for the past decade, serving students from Kindergarten through fifth grade. She is passionate about teachers having high expectations and strong relationships with their students and those students feeling empowered to go out and do great things in the world.
Mrs. Schaus is from the East Tennessee region, growing up in Kingsport. She graduated from King College with a degree in Elementary Education, later going back to receive her Masters in Administration & Leadership. After college, she taught in Knox County and Anderson County Schools. In 2020, Mrs. Schaus and her husband moved to Morristown and have since welcomed a son into the family. In her spare time, Mrs. Schaus and her family enjoy traveling and visiting the National Parks. She enjoys playing sports, like volleyball, and even plays in a handbell choir at church.
